Incident Report

On Monday morning an alert resident noticed a person acting suspiciously in the grounds of the Anglican Church in their “Garden of Remembrance”  She observed the person remove a small plant and pot and proceed back up Hillside to his residence.  After a while he then casually exited back down Kommetjie road – no pot or plant. He was captured on our cameras.  He has been notified of this in writing and we are awaiting his response.

Late Sunday afternoon another call of 2 x suspicious gents in our area along Hillside.  Patrollers responded – they then realised these guys were trouble and called for SAPF backup.  They have been identified as known shoplifters, belonging to a gang and one admitted to being in Pollsmoor for 6 years for housebreaking.  Unfortunately this time SAPF did not arrive so they were escorted out of the area.

Incident Report

In the early hours of Saturday morning a call was received on the ACL that a resident had heard what sounded like a window being broken.  The call went out with a great response both from members of our EMP Team, residents in general and Mark and Tracy from Clovelly.  A thorough search of the area was conducted by respondents on foot along with car responders sweeping the valley.  Nothing was found to be amiss but rather safe than sorry.
